My name is Janette Fishman and I am a Senior Placement Agent with The Assisted Living Specialist. For as long as I can remember, I have always had a close relationship with the senior community. From visiting one Grandmother every Sunday in the city to spending summers in Hungary with my other Grandmother, I have always had a close bond & deep respect to the elders in my family. But beyond family, I have had close ties to this community from my time performing at local Assisted Living facilities while in elementary school all the way up to writing my college thesis on interpersonal and intercultural communication in the senior community. And now coming full circle, I have the honor to care for my parents in their “golden years”. Always with natural compassion, it would seem only appropriate to be in a field wherein I am given the opportunity to work with seniors and assist them (and their families) in finding the best care options for their specific needs.
